Kelsey Fordham is an award-winning Director & Producer committed to telling powerful and daring stories with a soul. Her art is influenced by over 6 years of work for a documentary-based NGO that helped provide protection resources to some of the most vulnerable communities in central Africa. While there, Kelsey witnessed film at its best and fell head over heels for the power of storytelling.
As a narrative filmmaker Kelsey has produced films including Harry Shum Jr.'s 2021 proof of concept film, Milo, and the 2019 HBO Visionaries winning film Halwa. Her directorial debut, Entitled, premiered at the Academy Award qualifying festival HollyShorts and won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Dramatic Short at DC Shorts.
Within brand and commercial spaces Kelsey has Produced, 1st AD'd, Directed, and Edited dozens of videos for clients including Dolby Laboratories, Sony, Early Medical, United Way, Donald Miller, Ty Rise, and Preemptive Love.
Kelsey is a 2025 Alliance of Women Directors Directing Lab Fellow and was a Directing Participant in the 2020 SAG Indie Music Composition Workshop. Her films have streamed on HBO & Disney Hotstar+ and have premiered at prestigious film festivals including Austin Film Festival, HollyShorts, Outfest, San Diego International, LAAPFF, and LA Shorts.
